"George T" passed away at home on October 16, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on January 19, 1955, in Anderson, IN to Charles and Connie (Steimel) Guenther. After graduating from Shenandoah High School in 1973, George performed with various bands throughout Madison County. He was a manager at Prime Battery during the 80's and then became a well-known DJ for the next 20 years. He later worked as a correctional guard at CIF in Pendleton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Marcia, and many dear friends including Ronnie (Connie) Roberson, Bob Shoemaker, the Walker family, and caregiver, Angie (John) Hancock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother, Robert Guenther.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the wife to help with expenses.
