Gladys was the wife of the late Harold J. DeMone.
Loving mother of Ruth L. DeMone of Peabody and Kathleen DeMone Cormier of Pepperell.
Grammy of Alexander and Elizabeth Cormier and the late Garret Cormier of Pepperell.
She was full of life and quite the character and was blessed to have lived a full and long life. Gladys was an active member of Calvary Methodist Church in Arlington with their Women’s and Helping Hands Groups. She was also a member of the Jolly Elders.
Being the last remaining siblings of the seven Kempton girls of Somerville, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand and great nieces, nephews and friends she has made along her life’s journey.
Visiting hours in the the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington Street, Union Square, Somerville on Tuesday 4-8pm.
Interment will be private.
A Memorial Service will be held in Calvary Church United Methodist, Arlington on Saturday, October 24 at 11am.
