Laura Jean Lesieur, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at her home in Londonderry, NH. She was born on May 31, 1958 in Wilmington, NC, daughter of Betty and Stacy Bragg, Jr. Growing up in a military family, Laura Jean was blessed to experience life in many places including Virginia, Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida and Turkey. Laura Jean enjoyed photography, music, singing, dancing, coaching and rooting for her kids athletic accomplishments, cooking for her family and loved animals of all kinds especially horses. Laura Jean enjoyed playing softball as a member of Londonderry Women’s Softball League and was also a member of VFW Post in Hudson, NH.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Mark E. Lesieur, daughter Natalie Jean Lesieur and long time boyfriend Nick Molak, son Erik Lesieur, parents Stacy & Betty Bragg of Slidell, LA, brother Stacy “Cole” Bragg, III of Londonderry and brother Stephen Bragg and his wife Shirley of Slidell, LA; father and mother in law Roland and Eleanor Lesieur of Nashua, several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as her furry friends Dennis and "grand-dog" Layla.
Calling hours were held on Thursday October 22nd from 4 – 6pm at Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A funeral service began at 6:00pm in the funeral home with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Laura Jean Stray Animal Fund at Granite State Animal Hospital, 19 Roulston Rd., Windham, NH 03087.
