James Byron Manley, 34, of New Bedford died Thursday May 26, 2005 unexpectedly at home. He was the husband of Mary L. (Pittsley) Manley.
Born in Novato, California, the son of Raymond Andrade of Dartmouth and the late Constance Manley, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
He was a 1989 graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
Mr. Manley was employed as a cook at the Golden Greek Restaurant.
He was the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and was known for his artistic talent and his quick sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife; his father; two sons, James B. Manley, Jr., and Jared Manley, both of New Bedford; a daughter, Hailey Manley of New Bedford; a brother, Geary Wilson, and his wife Barbara, of Oklahoma; a sister, Christy Andrade of New Bedford; and a niece, Ashley Wilson of Oklahoma.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday May 28, 2005 from 6-8 PM.
