Mary E. Giroux 91, of Williams St., died Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center. She leaves her husband of sixty five years, David Giroux. Born in Uxbridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Lynch) Casey. When she was young, Mary worked for Whitins Machine Works in Whitinsville, MA for ten years and then worked for the Tupperware Co. before retiring to become a homemaker and care for her family.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son David Giroux of Hopedale, MA, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son Michael Giroux.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Olo St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Monday 6-8 PM.
