Jennie F. Dimmitt, 94

Jennie F. (Cutillo) Dimmitt, age 94, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late William H. Farquharson and the late Arthur B. Dimmitt.
Born in Mansfield, MA on November 10, 1920 she was a loving daughter of the late Pellegrino and Erminia (Tolentino) Cutillo.
Jennie grew up in Mansfield and was a 1939 graduate of Mansfield High School. She furthered her education and was a 1941 graduate of Bryant Stratton Business School. In 1980 she returned to college and graduated from Dean Junior College with an Associates Degree in Business.
Jennie was a retired Assistant Vice President having worked for 45 years at Bank of America, which was the former First National Bank in Mansfield. She retired in1995.
A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Jennie was a member of the Board of Directors and a former Chairman of the Finance Committee at the Village at Willow Crossings in Mansfield. She recently retired in June as the president of the Residents Association at Willow Crossings.
Jennie moved back to Mansfield 10 years ago after making her home in North Attleboro for 35 years. She was a former member of the North Attleboro Chamber of Commerce. Jennie’s favorite times spent were those amongst and entertaining family and friends. She was also an avid golfer and will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills.
She was the devoted and loving mother of Jean M. Farquharson of Bradenton, Florida and the late Elaine F. Perrine. She was the dear sister of the late Joseph Cutillo, Ralph Cutillo and Clair Lemieux. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew Perrine and his wife Cria, Christopher Perrine and his fiancé Emily Petersen and Courtney Pierce and her husband Matthew. She is also survived by her great granddaughter Kasen Perrine, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Monday, October 19th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 18th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
