Bernice McKenzie of Stoneham died peacefully on her 80th birthday surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Winchester Hospital.
Born in Somerville, Bernice was the beloved daughter of the late Archibald McKenzie and Bernice (Covert) McKenzie. Bernice was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Bernice was the beloved sister of William McKenzie Sr., of Stoneham and his wife Marjorie(Green) McKenzie. Bernice was loved by a large family including many nephews and nieces – William McKenzie Jr. and his wife Linda of Reading, Janice McKenzie (Hennessy) and her husband Frank of Windham, New Hampshire, Debbie McKenzie (Eccles) and her husband George of Peabody, Carol McKenzie (Davis) and her husband Bob of Derry, New Hampshire, Daniel McKenzie of Stoneham, John McKenzie and his wife Patricia of Billerica, Linda McKenzie (Demmons) and her husband Roy of Tewksbury, Jean McKenzie (Schmidt) and her husband Paul of Stoneham.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Bernice’s life in St. Patrick’s Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
