Thompson, Rachel Ann (Hagan), 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at Essex Health Care.
Rachel was a native of Hancock Co., KY and a member of Mary Queen of Peace (St Denis Campus).
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Zeta Ruth Hagan; two sisters, Carolyn and Allene; three brothers Darrell, Donnie and Charles.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James “Jimmy” Thompson; three children, Kevin Thompson (Mindy), Brian Thompson (Wendy) and Rena Pearson (Ricky); a sister, Linda Frobeter (Jackie); nine grandchildren, Cody, Jordan, Kyle, Jordan, Courtney, Dillon, Jenna, Brooke and Jared; and one great grandchild, Colton; three sister-in-laws, Juanita, Ruth Ann and Loretta.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 3:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday after 9:00 am.
