Laura Jean Grondski, Departed this world October 10th to be with Jesus forever in Heaven. Laura was from Springfield and she leaves her parents Theodore E. and Norma C. (Boisvert) Grondski. She also leaves to mourn, her sister Debbie Felsheim and her partner Rick Weber and her daughter Brittany and her husband Erik Stark, her nephew Corbin Felsheim, her Grand niece Autumn and Grand nephew Nathaniel. She also leaves her sister Donna Ellis and her husband Bill Ellis, Laura’s niece Erika Ellis and fiancé Joey Carmichael, and nephew Derek Ellis and friend Chelsa. Also sister Darlene Ames and husband Mike Ames, niece Ashlee McNamee RN-BS-MA and niece Abagail Ames. She also leaves an Uncle William Grondski and Aunt Susan Latimer and Uncle James Latimer. She also leaves 3 of her favorite furry friends Miss Bella, Stanley and Leo. Laura attended Springfield Schools and worked at Work Opportunity Center, a sheltered workshop. She also volunteered at Baystate Medical Center and Heritage Hall with New England Business Associates. Her special friend was Lisa O’Rourke who brought Laura out every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Laura was such a loving person and never hurt anyone. Calling Hours will be held on Friday Oct 16, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM from the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Memorial Mass to start at 11 AM in Mary, Mother of Hope Church.
