Paxton—Maxine L. (Paddock) Malkasian, 78, of 119 West Street, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at home. Her husband, Roy A. Malkasian, died in 1987. She leaves 3 sons, Scott Malkasian of Princeton; Mark Malkasian and his wife, Cheri, of Holden; and Steven Malkasian and his wife, Ann, of Paxton; 2 daughters, Lisa Himmer of Oakham and Robin Malkasian and her life-partner, Kathleen Burr, of Hebron, CT; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Himmer of Oakham, Nicholas Malkasian, Kristina Himmer, and Mallory Malkasian, all of Paxton; a brother, Robert Paddock of Littleton, NH; and a sister, Judy Russell of Leicester; and several nieces & nephews.
Maxine was born in Amherst, NH, daughter of W. Earl and Pauline (Wiles) Paddock. She was a graduate of Leicester High School and Becker College. She worked in the offices of the Haskins Mfg. Co., in Rochdale. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church where she taught Sunday school, served on both the Flower and Missions Committees, and worked diligently on the annual antique sale and chicken barbeque. She was a member of the Paxton Women's Club.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28, at 1:00 p.m. at the Paxton Congregational Church. Private burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
