Carolyn T. (Wordell) LeMieux, 98, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at St. Anne’s Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward E. LeMieux.
Born in Somerset, daughter of the late William H. and A. Gertrude (Hathaway) Wordell, she moved to Westport in 1975 and resided there for many years before moving to Fall River. Prior to her retirement in 1978, Mrs. LeMieux worked for Puritan Life Insurance Co. of Providence, for the War Protection Board and O’Brien & Bentley Law Firm, both of New Bedford, Raytheon of N. Dighton and Columbia Electronics of New Bedford. She was a member of the Westport Grange 181 P of H and the Noquochoke Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her son: E. Peter LeMieux of Taunton; and her daughter: Christin L. Sullivan of Fall River.
She was the sister of the late Hillman H. Wordell and mother-in-law of the late Frank S. Sullivan.
