EAST TAUNTON - Barbara J. (Boudreau) Roderick, age 85 of East Taunton, died October 7th following a lengthy illness.
Barbara was the wife of Arthur E. “Tick” Roderick.
Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ruth (Dearth) Boudreau.
She was a graduate of Brockton High School and retired as a cashier after many years at Shaw’s and Trucchi’s Supermarkets.
Barbara was a strong, independent, and giving woman who enjoyed time with her husband, children, grandchildren and family.
Barbara is survived by her husband Arthur “Tick” of 62 years; three sons, Daniel “Ted” and his wife Patricia, Paul and Robert, all of Taunton; and four grandchildren Jariah, Taylor, Tiffany and Mackenzie.
She was the sister of Linda Calabrese of East Bridgewater, Mary Higginbotham of West Bridgewater, Gail Boudreau of Bridgewater, Sally Boudreau of Taunton, Robert Boudreau of Raynham, and the late Timothy, Francis, Gerald, William, Joe, and Louis Boudreau, Jr., Nancy Willis, Natalie Daneault, Patricia Ryan and Betty Simmons.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, Oct. 14th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, East Taunton at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
