Nolan W. Register, 65, of Valdosta passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at his residence. A private service and burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Register was born May 25, 1950 in Jasper, Florida, the son of James Elvin Register and Sally Ward Register, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Amanda Rose Chambers; a brother, Jimmy Register; and a sister, Sarah Smithie. He was a pipe-fitter with Georgia Automatic Sprinklers. He loved fishing and having a good time.
Mr. Register is survived by his wife, Delores Cummings Register of Valdosta; two daughters, Amy and Tandy of Lakeland; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dewey and Lisa Register and Roy Register, Sr., all of Clyatteville; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Elaine and Edward Guest of Valdosta, Odessa Ann Payne, Betty and Dennis Tanner and Julia “Patsy” Nathey; three step-grandchildren, Andrew Crawford, Bridgett Crawford and Keenia Chambers; his mother-in-law, Sybil Cummings; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Cummings; and a special friend, Dawn Marie Black Harmon.
