Obituary

Laconia-----Leo Paul Flibotte, 88, of Shane Way, died on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Berlin, NH on May 28, 1927, the son of the late Napoleon and Laura Flibotte (Mercier).

Leo proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He studied engineering at University of NH and worked at Barker Steel Company in Watertown, MA for forty years. Leo was a member of The Tewksbury Lions Club and the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge. He enjoyed playing golf and tennis, dancing, fishing and boating.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Mavis Flibotte (Jordan); daughters Calla Baxter, Terri Westaway, Rondi Forest and Mary Blake and seven grandchildren, Jarod and Joshua Westaway, Mariah and Haley Baxter, Joseph McArdle, Kelsie Forest and Donald Blake. Leo also leaves behind eight nieces and nine nephews.
Leo was preceded in death by his sisters Pauline Lambert and Evelyn Wilson.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Rd, Concord, followed by a Burial at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
Immediately following, family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon at Alan’s of Boscawen, 133 N. Main St., Rte 3, Boscawen, NH.
