Anna Pearl Jones, 92, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Georgia.
Mrs. Jones was born October 9, 1922 in Asheboro, North Carolina, to the late Robert Lee & Lillian Hull Spencer. She lived in the community for over 25 years moving from Meriwether County. She was a homemaker who loved taking care and spending time with her family. Mrs. Jones was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Asheboro United Methodist Church in Asheboro, North Carolina.
She is survived by her daughters: Vickie Williams of Lawrenceville and Christine Palmer of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Brandon Crook & Marian Smith of Fitzgerald, Keri & Steven Smith of Fitzgerald, Kailei Crook of Fitzgerald, Butch Williams, Scott Williams, and Dennis Williams, all of Lawrenceville and Robin Davis of Gainesville; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Millie Chrismon of Raleigh, North Carolina and Betty Warren & Joe of Asheboro, North Carolina; and two brothers: Clay & Margaret Spencer of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Johnny & Wendy Spencer of Asheboro, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Robert Jones; a daughter: Emily Sue Newman; two brothers and three sisters.
