Laconia----Jacqueline R Landry (Houle) passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on October 5th, 2015 in her home, surrounded by her loving family and her beloved cat Lucy by her side.
Jacqueline was born on June 14th, 1929 in Laconia, NH to Oscar and Alice (Bilodeau) Houle. She graduated from Laconia high school in 1947 where she was a drum majorette. She married the love of her life, Roger J Landry (Flash) on October 23, 1948. Jacqueline and Roger enjoyed dancing, snowmobiling, and traveling. Jacqueline dedicated her life to being a loving mother of three, grandmother of four, and great grandmother of 2. She was well known in Laconia for her position at Laconia People’s Bank for 20 years as well as being a faithful volunteer at New To You. Jacqueline was also very talented in oil painting and loved sharing her beautiful work with family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters: Carol Reinschmidt and her husband Robert of Hollis, NH; Donna Landry of Laconia, NH; and Jan and Joe Field of Reno, NV. She had four grandchildren, Genevieve Reinschmidt-Gach and her husband Gary, Gregory Reinschmidt, Ashley Field-Sayre and her husband Adam, and Jacqueline Reinschmidt. She also considered Benjamin Blasi of Laconia her grandson. She greatly enjoyed her 2 great grandchildren, Jakob and Kaylee Gach, and has a 3rd great grandchild to be born in November. She is also survived by her sister Claire Morin of South Carolina, her brother Pete Houle of Gilford, Sister-in-law Evelyn Persons of Laconia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband Roger and her brothers Roger and Harvey Houle.
Her family will always remember her generous and fun loving nature.
For those who wish to celebrate her life, wake services will be 4-7PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015, using the Carriage House Entrance at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant street, Laconia, NH 03246.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH at 11:00AM on Friday, October 9, 2015.
Burial will be private.
