Albert Eugene “Gene” Graham, 87, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Glenn Ford officiating. Mr. Graham’s grandson, Lance Williams, will give a eulogy. Mr. Graham will be laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, October 9, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Graham’s grandsons, Rick Sanders, Lance Williams, Brett Williams and Jamey Sanders, as well as Randy Greer and Tracey Allen will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Graham was born August 20, 1928 in Colquitt County, the son of James Albert Graham and Myra Elizabeth Roberts Graham, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and Arby’s Restaurant and of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Mary Mildred Touchton Graham of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Ann Graham Williams and husband, Mitchell and Jeanie Sharon Graham Sanders and husband, Ricky Noel, all of Tifton; two sisters, Frances Graham Wisham of Tifton and Joyce Graham Allen of Thomasville; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lance and Amanda Williams, Brett and Becky Williams, Rick Sanders and Jamey Sanders, all of Tifton; and two great-grandchildren, Hayes Williams and Tye Williams, both of Tifton.
