ARTHUR P. ROSEMOND
Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather
TEWKSBURY: Arthur P. Rosemond – Age 80, beloved husband of Dorothy L. (McLaughlin) Rosemond died October 5, 2015 at the Woodbriar of Wilmington surrounded by his family.
He was born in Boston, April 14, 1935, a son of the late Matthew and Mary (Groden) Rosemond. He was raised in S. Boston and Canton before moving to Tewksbury in 1969. He was a 1953 graduate of Canton High School.
Mr. Rosemond was a 35 year employee of J.A. Webster Veterinary Supply Co. of Sterling having retired in 2000. He was well known and respected by many of the area Veterinarians for his knowledge and expertise in animal care.
He was a life long New England sports team’s supporter and could be found on his recliner during any Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox or Celtics games. He was never a big fan of the referees or umpires, he would always express his displeasure of a bad call.
Mr. Rosemond leaves behind many dear friends including the staff at the Tewksbury State Hospital, Helping Hands of America, The Sons of Italy, The Lions Club and many other volunteer organizations that he belonged to. His family would like to thank the staff of the Lahey Hospital in Burlington and Woodbriar of Wilmington for their compassion and care.
Mr. and Mrs. Rosemond just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on October 1.
Besides his wife, Mr. Rosemond is survived by his sons, Arthur Rosemond Jr., Stephen Rosemond and his wife Bonnie and Alan Rosemond and his wife Kathy all of Tewksbury, Richard Rosemond and his partner Kathy Hanson of Leominster and Michael Rosemond and his wife Ellen of Springfield; his grandchildren, Courtney, Brittany, Jason, Ryan, Matthew, Patrick, Maggie, Tommy, Sean and Mary Cate Rosemond; his brother in law, William McLaughlin of FL and his sisters in law, Margaret Stein and Barbara McLaughlin of FL. He was the brother of the late Richard Rosemond and brother in law of the late Carol Roberts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 3-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. At the request of the family his funeral services will be private. Kindly Omit Flowers.
