Diane S. White, 76, of West Church Street, Greenville, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 in Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the widow of Lawrence R. White.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James Edward and Ann Catherine (Reilly) Butler. Diane was a Licensed Practical Nurse, who devoted her time to working with the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary Organization of North Providence.
She is survived by her children, Laura A. White and Brian A. White, and Patricia A. Haigh of Smithfield, her nine grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, James R. White.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
