FALL RIVER - Isabel (Grillo)Trznadel formerly Luz, passed away in Fall River on May 21, 2005 at home surrounded by her family. Widow of the late Antone “Paul” Trznadel and the late John C. “Barney” Luz a/k/a Luiz. She was the loving mother of a son, John D. Luz of Dartmouth; Five daughters, Patricia Simbro and Pauline Luiz of Fall River, Madeline Quintal of New Bedford, Elizabeth Abdallah and Virginia Almeida of Somerset. She was also the loving Grandmother of six grandchildren: Kristen Hall of Plymouth, Raymond Almeida, Jr., Jason Almeida, and Edward Abdallah of Somerset, Joshua Luz of Dartmouth, and Jill Quintal Krikorian of London, England, and Five Great Grandchildren. One Brother, Manuel Grillo of Swansea. Six sisters, Alice Diniz of Somerset, Florence Conroy, MaryJane Mello, and Virginia Turcotte of Fall River, Ann Goldstein of Westport, and Rose Wordell of Dartmouth; Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late John Grillo
Born in Little Compton, R.I. She was the Daughter of the late Manuel P. and Mary (Cambra) Grillo. She spent most of her youth living in Westport, working on her family dairy farm. She later raised her family in Fall River and Assonet. She loved to dance and spent many years dancing with her friends at the Liberal Club in Fall River. Besides dancing, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
