Emma E. (Schneider) Marshall, of Stoughton, formerly of Marlborough and Stow, passed away after an extended illness, on Sunday May 22, 2005 at the Weymouth Health Care Center in Weymouth, MA. She was 87 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Hallet N. Marshall.
Born February 11, 1918 in Stow, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late George and Agusta (Dravinink) Schneider.
She attended Marlborough Public Schools.
Mrs. Marshall was a member and attended The Federated Church of Hudson, Massachusetts.
After moving to Stoughton in 1960, Mrs. Marshall was employed by the Raytheon Corporation based in Waltham, Massachusetts as a supervisor in their Electronics Division, where she would oversee the production of various Military Devices.
Mrs. Marshall was member of the Sharon Fish and Game Club in Sharon, Massachusetts.
She also enjoyed Fishing, Sewing, Crocheting, Animals, Bird Watching, Gardening and had a very special interest in Reading.
She is survived by her daughter Dorothy M. Marshall of Hobart, New York, her sister Bertha Pohl of Weymouth, MA, her niece Elizabeth Pohl also of Weymouth, MA, and her nephew David Pohl of Edgewater, Florida. She was also a sister to the late John G. Schneider, Martha Alward and Mary Cooper.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2005, from 5-8 P.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street ( Off Rt. 138 at the Webster Savings Bank), Stoughton. Her funeral service and interment will be held on Thursday May 26, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. in Maplewood Cemetery, Marlborough, Massachusetts. The Senior Pastor of The First Lutheran Church Of Boston, Ingo Dutzmann, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one’s choice, in Emma’s memory, would be appreciated.
