Loving wife, mother, grandmother, born April 16, 1935, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, died peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family and angels on October 3, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late Helen Gasper and Albert Belliveau. Married 60 years to her childhood sweetheart,John, who were blessed to have had such a loving and amazing family. Mother of Diane Marrazzo and her husband John, Carol Souza and her husband Jeff, John Franzini and his wife Roberta. Proud grandmother to Nicole Heath, John & Robert Purington, Danielle Taber, Christine Gendron, Jay & Adam Souza, Nicholas & Renee Franzini & 8 great grandchildren. Sister to her wonderful siblings, Al Belliveau, Helen Voto, Mary Mazzei, and Phil Gasper, as well as her beloved brother and sister-in-laws, Bobby Voto, Ralph Mazzei, Gerald & Mike Franzini, Dorothy Weil, & Kathy Gasper. Loving Aunt Joan to her nieces and nephews, who fondly remember her hospitality, making the Holidays so much fun, for her kindness, peaceful ways & wonderful laugh. Joan and John made care of their family, their highest priority. Joan will always be admired and remembered for her love and thoughtfulness. Her gentle spirit is an inspiration to all of us, and we will celebrate her life with thankfulness and appreciation. Visitation will be in the Davis Funeral Home 619 State Rd.Manomet on Tuesday Oct. 6 from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass in Saint Bonaventure's Church 802 State Rd. Manomet Wednesday at 10AM.
