Jean Marie (Curley) Quinn, 83, formerly of Millis, died October 2 at Golden Pond in Hopkinton. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Quinn who died in 2000.
Born in Milford, March 29,1932, the daughter of the late Thomas and Susan (Harrison) Curley, Mrs. Quinn was raised in Medway and had been a longtime resident of Millis.
Mrs. Quinn was a graduate of Medway High School.
She had been active in the Millis Athletic Boosters Club and the scouting program.
She had enjoyed doing ceramics but most of all she was a devoted mother.
She is survived by her children, Robert Quinn ,Jr of Jupiter,Fla., Thomas Quinn of Uxbridge, Kathleen Bayer of Bellingham, Patricia Tousignant of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Maureen O’Dowd of Blackstone, Christopher Quinn of Rowley and Kelley Emborsky of Jonestown, PA. She was the mother of the late Michael Quinn.
She is also survived by her sisters Rita Luke of Ponce Inlet, Fla., Susan Carruth of Rochester and was the sister of the late Helen Sullivan.
She was the grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 14.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 7 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:30 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 12:30 p.m.
Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Millis.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
