Marie-Therese (Leveille) Ouellette, 85 passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was the wife of the late Rene F. Ouellette, co-owner of the former Alyce’s Ice Cream ,which was located on Canal St., Salem.
Born in Salem and raised in Framingham, she was she daughter of the late Enoil and Louisa (Denis) Leveille, Therese was a long time resident of Salem. Her favorite hobbies were reading, shopping and spending time with family. She love living near the beach, walking in parks and remaining in touch with everyone. Therese will be remembered as totally devoted to her family.
She is survived by her sons, Keith and His spouse, Janet of Tallahassee, FL, Mark of Roxbury, ME and his companion Michelle Carignan. Therese is also survived by her daughter, Renee Cooper and her spouse, Larry of Ocoee, FL. She was predeceased by her son , Kenneth and survived by his spouse Dawn, as well as daughter-in-law, Jeanne Ouellette; grandchildren and their spouses, Alicia, Michael & Laura, Jay & Jacquelyn, David & Amy, Melissa & Rocky, Jason & Kristen, Justin & Amanda. She also leaves 11 great-grandchildren, many cousins and sisters-in-law.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, followed by her funeral mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11:30 A.M. A committal service will follow on Monday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
