James Edward Allison, 83 of Louisville passed away September 29, 2015 at Baptist Health
He was editor for the Courier-Journal for 20 years. Also, editor for the Tribune in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and The Daily News in St. Thomas, Virgin Island.
Survived by his wife Peggy Allison of Louisville; step-children, Fredrick Klotz IV and Michael Klotz of Taylorsville, KY; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 7 pm, Friday at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Visitation 3-7 PM on Friday.
