Douglas A. Turner, 53, of Halifax, MA died suddenly on September 28 at Brockton Hospital.
Born in Brockton, MA he was the son of the late Priscilla J. (Chapman) and Alden D. Turner, Jr. He graduated in 1980 from Silver Lake Regional High School. He worked many years at Cumberland Farms. He was a fan of science fiction books and movies as well as a fan of the Boston Red Sox.
He was the brother of Beverly (Turner) Reichle, Nancy Turner, Stacey Turner and the late Kenneth Turner, Sr. and Robert C Turner. He also has a Sister-in-Love, Jo-Ann Mancuso and a sister–in-law, Janice Turner. He was the uncle of Teresa (Reichle) O’Toole, Kerry-Lynn (Turner) LaFlamme, Julie (Turner) Labonte, Kenneth Turner, Jr., Jill (Turner) Roberts, and Kyle Turner. He also has many great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday October 4th from 2:30-4:30 followed by a service at 4:30 in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman.
