Leroy Harris, 84, of Anderson died Sept. 29, 2015 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born March 28, 1931 in Livingston, Tenn.
Leroy worked production at Delco Remy for 30 years before retiring in 1985.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas "Tom" (Ruth) Harris of Alexandria; Denver (Marcia) Burns of Granger, IN; his daughter, Dianna (Kent) Davis of Michigan City; brother, Earl (Helen) Harris of Livingston, Tenn.; twelve grandchildren, Erica (Jake) Fluhr, Drake Harris, Quentin Harris, Royce Harris, Sully Harris, Benjamin Burns, Caleb Burns, Eli Burns, Preston Davis, Myra Davis, Simon Davis and Ruby Davis, great-grandchild, Kian Fluhr and several nieces and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Harris; long time companion, Debbie Burns; daughter, Lori Harris, father, Ridley Harris and his mother, Etta M. (Abbott) Brown.
Services will be noon on Sat. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Don Billey officiating.
Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sat. from 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
