Obituary

MIDDLEBORO - Charles “Beecher” Inman, 65, of Middleboro, formerly of Bridgewater and East Bridgewater, died Monday, May 23, 2005, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. He was the husband of Nancy R. (McMahon) Inman.

Born Sept. 5, 1939, in Brockton, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Sherren) Inman.

Raised and educated in Bridgewater, Mr. Inman attended Bridgewater schools.

He was the owner and founder of Production Tooling, a specialty tooling business, in East Bridgewater for 20 years.

Mr. Inman wintered in Florida and restored antique motorcycles.

A U.S. National Guardsman, He was a member of Hanson Rod and Gun Club Pistol Team, Tumbleweed Motorcycle Club of Bridgewater and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jody Sellers and her husband Daniel of West Bridgewater and Donna Safford and her husband Lee of East Bridgewater; and his three grandchildren, Montana and Sydney Safford of East Bridgewater and Michael Sellers of West Bridgewater.

His funeral service will be held in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Lung Assoc., One Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346-3230.
