Cheryl C. Harlow (Emery), 67, of Rockland, Massachusetts died on
September 27, 2015 at Brigham and Women's Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1948, Cheryl was a life-long resident of Rockland. She graduated from Rockland High School in 1966. She spent many years working at China Plaza Restaurant in Rockland and Fiji Garden in Abington where she was a familiar face to the customers there. In recent years she was employed by Affinity as a Home Health Care Aide where her patience and kindness were invaluable to the clients she cared for.
Cheryl had a keen sense of humor, loved animals, enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family. She was especially devoted to her two grandchildren, Jenna and Danielle.
She was the sister of Jackie Emery of Weymouth, Ronald Emery of California, Kenneth Emery of Pembroke, Paul Emery of Rockland and Debra Emery of Rockland.
She leaves behind one daughter, Tiffany Guilfoyle of Dedham, MA, and two granddaughters Jenna Guilfoyle and Danielle Guilfoyle of Dedham, MA along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Plymouth Street, (Route 58 at Rotary) Whitman on Saturday October 3rd. There will be a visiting hour at 11:30AM followed by a memorial service at 12:30PM. Burial will be at a later date.
