Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Patricia M. “Pat” (Lawlor) Marion, age 68, a resident of Tewksbury for over 60 years, died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
She was the wife of Louis E. “Skee” Marion, Jr. with whom she celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on May 7th.
Born in East Boston on July 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Pearl M. (Ross) Lawlor. At the age of 4 she and her family moved to South Tewksbury.
She attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury High School in 1955.
During her high school years she served as captain of the Girls Basketball Team and was a member of the cheerleading squad and field hockey team.
Mrs. Marion was a communicant of St. Williams Parish of Tewksbury.
Prior to her retirement in 1987, she was employed as a matron at the Tewksbury Memorial High School and a nurses aid the Tewksbury Hospital and several area nursing homes.
She was an avid sports fan and especially loved watching the New England Patriots. In addition, she enjoyed swimming, ice skating, dancing, traveling to Foxwoods Resort & Casino, caring for the youth and elderly and vacationing in Florida.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters; Beverly A. Green and her husband Thomas H. Green of North Londonderry, NH and Samantha A. Carver and her husband Norman R. Carver, Jr. of Dracut; 2 sons; Louis E. Marion, II and his wife Kathleen (Carter) and Bernard H. “Barney” Marion all of Tewksbury; 3 grandchildren; Houston A., Ebony J. and Caleb A. Green all of North Londonderry, NH; 2 sisters; Beverly A. Cockinos of West Palm Beach, FL and Gail A. Carbone of Eastport, ME; 2 brothers; George C. Lawlor, Jr. of St. Cloud, FL and Owen W. Lawlor of Eastport, ME; also many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Marion was the grandmother of the late Austin C. Green.
Calling hours Thursday, May 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Funeral Friday, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Lahey Clinic, c/o Oncology Unit, 41 Mall Rd., Burlington, MA 01805 are requested.
