Vicki Arnold Tucker, 64, of Tifton passed away Monday, September 28, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015, at Tifton’s First United Methodist Church with Rev. Benjy Varnell and Rev. Sam Rogers officiating. Mrs. Tucker will be laid to rest at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015, at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Scott, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, October 2, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Tifton’s First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Tucker was born May 12, 1951 in Macon, the daughter of Ola Williams Arnold of Dublin and the late Charles Everett “Hot Foot” Arnold. She was a retired school teacher at Len Lastinger Primary School and a member of Tifton’s First United Methodist Church. She was active in Meals on Wheels, the Soup Kitchen and Club 55 at Tifton’s First United Methodist Church. She was a woman of faith and a wonderful teacher.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Tucker is survived by her husband, Harris Tucker of Tifton; one son, Robert Britton Tucker of Roswell; and one brother, Bobby Arnold, who is a missionary in Macedonia.
