Ronald Dawson Harper, 71, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was retired from Ford Truck Plant where he worked for over 30 years, a Marine veteran of Vietnam and a member of Zachary Taylor American Legion Post #180.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Mae (Stephens); parents, Ed and Frances Harper; brothers, Don and Edward Harper Jr.; and sister, Carol Booker.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas “Tom” Harper and John Scott Harper; sisters, Kathy Baldauf-Barnett, Becky Harper, Susie Wilkins and Barbara Johnson; four grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Harper, Wesley Scott Harper, Brittney Nicole Harper, Victoria Melanie Harper; and one great-granddaughter, Lyndsey Jade Harper.
His memorial Mass will be Thursday, October 1, 2015 at St Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway at 10:30am. Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy is in charge of arrangements.
