Obituary

Juliette A. Dumaine, 94, of Great Rd. North Smithfield died Sunday September 20, 2015 at St. Antoine Residence.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Marie Rose (Gagne) Dumaine. She was a resident of North Smithfield for most of her life.
In her earlier years Juliette worked in the local textile industry at several firms including Glenark, the French Worsted, Desmond and Stamina mills.
Juliette was a longtime communicant of St. John's Parish in Slatersville and was a member of the St. John’s senior citizens club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Forestdale VFW and the Untied Friends Club. She was particularly talent at needlepoint and embroidery.
Juliette had a special role in caring for many family members. She always cared for others in need; putting their care and well-being ahead of her own.
She is survived by her sister Theresa L. Boucher of North Smithfield and was the sister of the late John Dumaine. She is also survived by her nephews Roger, Roland, Robert and John Boucher and their families and Richard, Robert and Paul Dumaine and their families and was the aunt of the late Helen Bucci-Hobbs.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday October 1, 2015 at 11:00 am in St. John’s Church, Church St. Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday morning from 9:00-10:30 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement at Graymoor, Office of Mission Support P.O. Box 301 Garrison NY 10524
