Roger Max Aubin, age 81, passed away on Sept 22, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT. He was born in Troy, VT on Sept 30, 1932 to the late Noe and Germaine (Robillard) Aubin. Roger was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a former communicant of the Assumption Church. He belonged to the American Legion Post 452 and also the Elks Lodge #2521 in Turners Falls. He worked as a truck driver for many years for the bulk mail center. He leaves one son Gerard Aubin of Chicopee, two daughters Therese Smith and Janet Forette both of Chicopee and three grandchildren Dan McDonald, Jessica Montez and Ryan Smith. He was predeceased by three sisters Rita Lacasse, Rena Aucoin and Muriel Hazen. Calling hours will be held on Wed., Sept 30, 2015 from 10:00 -11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St., Chicopee, with a Memorial Mass at 11:30 AM in Assumption Church. Burial to follow in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam at 1:00 PM. Donations may be made in Roger’s name to the Amercian Cancer Society 59 Bobala Rd #2, Holyoke, MA 01040.
