Aline S. (Gagnon) Ouellette, 89, of Goffstown, died September 26, 2015 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on June 29, 1926 to Henry and Anna (Cote) Gagnon. She attended Goffstown High School and was a lifelong resident of Goffstown.
Aline worked at several Manchester area shoe manufacturers for 45 years. She had volunteered at Catholic Medical Center for 20 years and also at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, senior centers, polling locations, blood drives and at Parish of the Transfiguration and the former St. Edmond Church.
She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, listening to “Doo-Wop” music and especially spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Arthur P. Ouellette in 1993; and by seven siblings, Armand Gagnon, Robert Gagnon, Roger Gagnon, Edward Gagnon, Rita Bernatchez, Irene George and Theresa Veillette..
The family includes two sons, Ronald Ouellette and his wife, Muriel, of Manchester and Denis Ouellette and his wife, Denise, of Goffstown; four grandchildren, Matthew Ouellette and his wife, Jennifer, Mark Ouellette, Timothy Ouellette and Zachary Ouellette; her sister in law, Rita Miner of Allenstown; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
