John Lester "Johnny" Holloway, age 60, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born January 4, 1955 in Oxford, MS to the late John Whitson "Pat", Jr. and Jerry Berry Holloway. Johnny was a member of First Baptist Church of Water Valley and was the founder of Dream Riders Biking for Children Charity Organization. He was a self-employed motorcycle mechanic who enjoyed riding his motorcycles, and was passionate about helping others, especially children. Johnny dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 28, 2015 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Rev. Fred Eakes officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, with the Diamond Back Motorcycle Club serving as pallbearers.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Toni Jean Holloway of Oakland, MS; two daughters, Leslie Holloway and Lauren Holloway both of Water Valley, MS; two sons, Brent (Gretchen) Holloway of Madison, MS and Wyatt Holloway of Oakland, MS; four grandchildren, Presley Holloway, Addison Holloway, Colton Crumley and Hudson Greer; and a special cousin, Jimmy Holloway.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Holloway and Andrea "Collie" Holloway Dykes.
