HERL, Meinrad “Bud”, 71, of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015.
He was a retired police officer for the Louisville Metro Police Department and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Herl.
He is survived by his children, Todd A. Herl (Julie), Robert Herl (Kim Embry), and Sherri L. Thomas (Jeff); grandchildren, Christopher and Bailie Herl, Amanda and Matthew Thomas, and Tiffany Clay; great grandchild, Averie Clay.
His service will be 11am Friday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8pm Thursday and 9-11 Friday.
