Margery E. (Brown) Finneran, 63, of Walpole died September 2, at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Finneran who died just 10 days later on September 12.
Born in Beverly, August 7, 1952, the daughter of the late George Brown and Emily Flanagan , Mrs. Finneran had lived in Walpole for many years.
A homemaker, Marge was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan. She was also an animal lover who loved and cared for her five adopted cats. She had a passion for art, music, history and politics. She was known for making the best chocolate cookies.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Farrell, Jr. of Sturbridge, Raymie Farrell and Kara Farrell of Wareham.
She was the mother of the late Emily Finneran.
She is also survived by her siblings, Steven Brown and Thomas Conroy of Norwood and Martha Brown of Cohoes, New York.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 1 in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street. Walpole from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
A service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Burial will be on Friday, October 2 in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, in Bourne beside her husband Joe.
