Gilford-----Theresa Mae Fitzgerald, age 58, of Saltmarsh Pond Rd., Gilford, NH, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. She was born on October 16, 1956 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Bourgeois (Ketchum). Theresa was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.
Theresa worked as an LNA for over fifteen years, working many years at Belknap County Nursing Home, and then doing home care for Interim. She loved to help others all the time and will be remembered for being very kind and loving to everyone she met.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 36 years, James Fitzgerald; a daughter Crystal McNeil and her husband Christopher; a brother George Bourgeois and four grandchildren, Andrew, Aiden, Jacob and Johnathan. Theresa is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
Aside from her parents, Theresa is predeceased by her brothers Robert and Paul Bourgeois.
All are welcome to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, using the carriage house entrance.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday September 27,2015 at the Elks Lodge in Gilford, NH at 1:00 PM.
