James Douglas "Jim" Fuqua, 76, of Anderson died Sept. 20, 2015 after a sudden illness at Assurance Health in Anderson.
He was born Nov. 30, 1938 in Terre Haute to Lloyd C. and Lucille (Harris) Fuqua.
He was interested in space exploration.
Survivors include his brother, Bart Fuqua of Anderson, step-sister, Tonya Bollinger and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kenny Fuqua and Denny Fuqua and a step-sister, Judith Shepard.
Cremation will take place.
