Arminda Agusto, 90, of Londonderry, NH, died Saturday September 19, 2015 in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, MA. She was born on the island of Terceira in the Azores, Portugal on June 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Luis Pereira DaCosta and Balbinha (Duarte) DaCosta. Mrs. Agusto had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 21years, formerly living in Somerville, MA. She loved spending time with her beloved family.
She is survived by three sons, Antonio A. Agusto and his wife Patricia of Millbury, MA, Louis P. Agusto and his wife Jean of Arcadia, FL, and Robert P. Agusto and his wife Kimberly of Londonderry; one daughter, Donna M. Amaru and her husband Charles of Reading, MA; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Olivia Monteiro of Somerville, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Armando Agusto in 2010.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday September 22nd from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30am in St. Marks Church, One South Rd., Londonderry. The burial followed at 1:00pm in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH.
