M. Frances (Mulcahy) Witt, 77, of Hudson, formerly of Marlborough died Friday, September 18th in Marlborough Hills Nursing Home. Her husband, Richard M. Galvin, Sr. died in 2000. She leaves three sons, Richard M. Galvin, Jr. and Stephen J. Galvin and his wife Carmen all of Haverhill and Paul R Galvin of Clinton; her daughter Patricia Ann Galvin of Fitchburg; a sister, Maureen O’Brien of Hollywood, FL; nine grandchildren, 10 Great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson, and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Paul J. and Mildred A. (O’Grady) Mulcahy. She had been employed as a produce and health and beauty manager for Stop and Shop, later as a receptionist at Doctor’s Hospital and then as a warehouse associate with Puma Sports. In her youth she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, served as past resident of the Sudbury VFW Auxiliary and had been an Avon Representative.
Her graveside service will be held, Monday, September 21st at 11:00 a.m. in St. John’s Cemetery. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
