SANBORNTON- Rollanda R Durgin, 87, of 89 Cogswell Road, formerly of Gilford, died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a brief illness.
She was born on December 27, 1927 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Philomen and Laura (Caouette) Lessard. Rollanda, who went by the nickname of Rolly, was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region. She enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening and feeding the birds and chipmunks.
Rolly enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her two daughters: Sheila Crawford and her husband Ed of Sanbornton and Linda Robinson of Nashua, three grandchildren; Ryan Crawford and his wife Koleen, Julie Crawford and Tyler Robinson and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Maurice N. Durgin in 1998, and brothers and sisters.
A private graveside service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Gilford.
