Obituary

Edward A. Jollimore, passed away friday afternoon, at the Life Care Center in Stoneham after a brief illness. The husband of Eileen A. (Harrington), he was eighty years old. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Marie (Freney) and Edwar E. Jollimore.

He was employed by General Electric (Everett) for over forty years, and served as chief steward of IUE Local 201. Ed trained as a fighter pilot with the Army Air Corps during WW II. And he greatly enjoyed singing barbershop harmony with the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. For more than twenty-five years, during which he enriched the lives of many.

He was faithfull member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church parish community, serving as a past president of the Holy Name Society and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving in addition to his wife Eileen are Two Sons, Kenneth E. and his wife Charlene of Lynn, Brian E. and his wife Tammy of Tewksbury, Two daughters, Kathy E. Pilarski and her husband Edward of Chelmsford and Mary G. Jollimore of Medford, nine loving grandchildren and two loving great grandchildren. Two Sisters Marie Elliott of Natick and Lorraine Lee of Winchester.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Tuesday, May 14, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church Fellsway, Medford at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Visiting Hours at the funeral home Sunday and Monday 4 thru 8 p.m.
