Barbara Anne (Manning) Furlong, 86, of Franklin, died peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of John F. Furlong who died in 1972.
Born in Boston on January 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Logan) Manning.
A homemaker for most of her life, Mrs. Furlong was a resident of Franklin since 1962 and had formerly resided in Roslindale.
She is survived by five sons, John Furlong, Jr. and Frank Furlong, both of Franklin, Robert Furlong of Attleboro and Paul and Michael Furlong, also of Franklin and seven daughters, Patricia Furlong of Spencer, Nancy Riley of Franklin, Linda Furlong of Medway, Tara Hinckley of Franklin, Karen Delorme of Palm Coast, Florida, Lori Furlong of Upton and Jill Furlong of Franklin.
She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place privately at St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
