Edith M. “Edie” (Osborne) Lyons age 91 of Brockton died Saturday September 12, 2015 at West Acres Nursing Home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late George E. Lyons, Jr. and longtime companion of Al LaBonte of Brockton.
Edie was born, raised and educated in Marshfield and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 25 years. She enjoyed bowling and dancing and will be remembered as a wonderful lady who always had a big smile on her face.
Edie was the loving and devoted mother of Steven G. Lyons of Hendersonville, NC; Kenneth J. Lyons of Mad River, CA and Dennis W. Lyons of Milan, MI. She also leaves six grandchildren Joel, Adam, Douglas, Abigail and Jane Lyons and Amanda Daigle.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday September 16 at 11am. Visitation will precede the service 10-11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
