NATICK – Lee (Megliola) Faxon of Natick passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2015, after a brief illness while in residence at Mary Ann Morse Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late Lawrence Faxon. They previously lived in Wellesley and Sherborn. Lee settled in Natick after he died.
Lee was the daughter of Leonard and Josephine Megliola, both deceased, of Natick. Lee is predeceased by a brother, Michael, and a sister, Eleanor. She is survived by a sister, Mary, of Dennis, Mass. and brothers Larry and Lenny, both of Natick, and several nieces and nephews. .
Lee went to Natick public schools and embarked on a long and successful hair styling career in Wellesley.
She enjoyed golf and tennis and was quite the dancer. Lee and her husband also traveled considerably to such diverse destinations as Italy and Las Vegas.
Above all, she will be remembered for her kindness, love of family and boundless fondness of her nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
