LeRoy F. Lane, Jr. of Medford died on Sunday, September 6, in Melbourne Beach, FL. A lifelong resident of Medford, he was the son of the late LeRoy F. and Lillian G. (Johnson) Lane. LeRoy proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and was a member of Pipe Fitters Local 537.
He was the devoted father of Robin Kyle of Bolton, Robert Gates of Methuen, Brenda Laquidara and her husband Ed of Bolton. LeRoy was the loving grandfather of Nicholas, Jackalyne, Skye, Joshua, Noel, Giavanna, Marques, and the cherished brother of Karen A. Doyle of Nashua, NH, Thomas P. Lane of Florida, and Richard D. Lane of Medford. He is also survived by former wife and dear friend Tina (Toppi), and many loving nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at graveside on Wednesday, September 23 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and are asked to gather at the front gate of Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford, MA 02155 at 10:15 AM.
