Obituary

Mr. William Waldron, of Taunton, died Tuesday, September 8 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire M. (Morin) Waldron. He was born 81 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph F. and Mildred H. (Leary) Waldron. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Bill had been employed as a foreman for Reed and Barton Silversmiths for over 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the early Vietnam Era. He was a Life Member of the Taunton Lodge of Elks, and was a member of the Reed and Barton Quarter Century Club. Bill enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
He leaves: 2 sons: William J. Waldron and his wife, Beverly of Brandon, Fl., and Stephen G. Waldron of Taunton; 5 grandchildren: Meredith Waldron, Trevor Waldron, David DaRosa, Denise DaRosa and Derek DaRosa, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bill was also the father of the late Cynthia DaRosa of Taunton.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Monday, September 14 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M
