Quinebaug, CT - Jane Marie (Martin) Frick, 81 of Quinebaug, CT passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, September 8 surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves her beloved husband of 63 years, Carl R. Frick; a son, Robert Frick and his wife, Michele of Clinton, MA; a daughter, Judith Friend and her husband Thomas of Oxford, MA; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Frick of Tewksbury, MA; a sister, Patricia Monast and her husband, Paul; two brothers, Charles Martin and his wife, Joan and William Martin and his wife, Donna and several nieces and nephews. A son, Stephen Frick and a grandson, Robert Frick, Jr. predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles E. and Beatrice A. (Leofanti) Martin and graduated from Commerce High School.
Jane's love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was unparalleled. Her passion in life lay in caring for her family and, above all else, treating them all with equal affection and attention. She enjoyed yearly camping trips with her many grandchildren and spent several wonderful summers with her family in the lake at Kings Campground in Sutton, MA.
Jane's family would like to offer special thanks to the nurses from Day Kimball Hospice Service of Putnam, CT whose services were invaluable in Jane's time of need.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 12 at 10am in CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting Hours are Friday, September 11 from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the , 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
